Finding Compassion with Norah Birungi - Episode 18

This week, we're replaying one of our favorite episodes. Those who attended the 20th Annual Carol McLeod Ministries Conference might recognize Norah as she was our Compassion International representative. Join Carol McLeod for a special interview with guest Norah Birungi! The youngest of six children born to a Ugandan mother and Rwandan father, Norah was raised in Kampala, Uganda, at the height of civil conflict in the region. Her father served in the Rwandan army until he and his entire family were killed in the 1994 genocide. Listen in for the dramatic story of how God used Compassion International to completely redirect Norah’s life and lift her out of poverty. “Significant Women” is a weekly podcast for women to gather with their personal stories, dynamic hope and wisdom gleaned from the ordinary days of an uncommon life. Our goal is to simply encourage women in every season of life that their story matters; when Jesus is involved in the details, every woman’s life can be a significant representation of all that He is.
